Mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression can feel deeply isolating, but we serve a God who sees you, loves you, and meets you right where you are. Through the power of Jesus Christ, there is always an anchor of hope and a path toward healing.

This month, we encourage you to look around your community. Is there someone in your life who might be quietly struggling?

 A simple text, a phone call, or a coffee invite can make a world of difference. Checking in on a friend or loved one is a tangible way to reflect Christ’s love and remind them that they aren't fighting this battle by themselves.

What a month! Our team recently returned from the Christian Worldview Film Festival in Albany, Georgia, and we are still buzzing from the experience. It was a truly blessed time of fellowship and growth, offering us the chance to learn from some of the most talented "best of the best" creators in the industry today.
 
As we shared in last month’s newsletter, Episode 3: "Unconventional Clay" from the Sound Mind Series, was selected as a finalist in the Best Short Documentary category in the festival.  In a room full of powerful stories and exceptional filmmaking, we were honored to hear our name called - “Unconventional Clay” won for Best Gospel Presentation! 
 
We wanted to bring you into the room with us.  Watch the announcement and the moment our team accepted the award below.  It’s a memory we will cherish as we continue to push forward into our next projects.

The Momentum Doesn't Stop There!

We're thrilled to share that all five episodes of the Sound Mind Series are being added to RightNow Media's Mental Health Toolkit beginning May 4th! If you're not familiar, RightNow Media is the largest discipleship platform in the world, used by over 30,000 churches and more than 4.5 million subscribers. God-ordained doesn't even begin to cover it. The global Church is about to have access to these stories, and we are humbled!

We Also Have Some Personal News To Share... And It's Beautiful!

While we celebrate ministry milestones, we are also celebrating a beautiful personal one. We are overjoyed to announce that our Executive Director, Angela and her family, welcomed a new addition to their family. Marcello James arrived on April 13th weighing 6lbs 10oz. Both mom and baby are doing well, and we are so grateful for this new life within our Forever Changed Films family.

With this new season of life, Angela is stepping back from her day-to-day role to rest, recover, and be fully present with her family. And this is a well-earned and deeply deserved rest. We are so grateful for her. As we look to the future, we are pleased to announce that Charlie Cascio, previously the Chairman of the Board, will be stepping into Angela's role. Charlie has been an integral part of our mission, and we are excited to see his leadership guide Forever Changed Films into this new season.

But we don’t stop there.

We are also excited to announce that Episode 3: "Unconventional Clay", has been selected in the Best Short Documentary category at the Christian Worldview Film Festival in Albany, Georgia.

As you read this, members of our team are attending the festival and learning from leaders in Christian film-making such as the Kendrick Brothers and Andy Erwin. We are soaking in every bit of wisdom so that future productions can speak even more clearly to hurting hearts and point people to Christ.

We are grateful to share these incredible milestones from the Sound Mind Series documentary series. These honors are more than awards; they are reminders that these stories are reaching people who need the hope of the Gospel.

And there is even more exciting news ahead!

We're so grateful you're part of the Forever Changed community. As we reflect on all God is doing through this ministry, one verse continues to echo in our hearts:

"Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works among all the peoples!" Psalm 96:3

At Forever Changed, our mission is simple:

To produce Christian testimony films that ignite profound affection for the Son of God, Jesus Christ. (Psalm 96:3, Acts 4:12, Isaiah 12:2)

Every film we produce shines glory in brokenness; reminding the world that Jesus still saves, heals, and restores.

That's why we're delighted to welcome Charlie Cascio as our new Chairman. His steadfast direction, commitment to Christ, and love for proclaiming truth have already strengthened our ministry in powerful ways. Charlie carries a calling to faith and a heart for people. We're confident God will continue to use his stewardship to guide Forever Changed into its next season of impact.

If you joined our event, Break the Silence, we hope you witnessed the same presence Charlie did. God moved powerfully through heaviness, and hearts were restored.
 
One encounter from that night leaves us in awe:
A son, isolated and hurting, who rarely leaves home or attends church, came with his praying mom. Before the event he said, "I'm not going to cry."
But as he watched the film, he whispered, "I thought I was the only one." Tears came, and after hearing about the mental health resources available that very night, he made his way to the Care & Counseling Table- making a powerful step toward healing and peace.
 
Moments like this remind us why we do what we do. We don't just see the impact of these events, we feel them deeply. Every story, every tear, every prayer reminds us of the power of God's presence moving through His people.

That's why we can't wait for Taste & See on November 7th- we're so close!
